GOP Convention June 25-27, 2026

An idea comes up about Renae running for State Auditor. It would at a minimum provide an opportunity to alert more people about the SDRS/SDIC Whistleblower, as no one from the SD Government or SD News media will publicly talk about it to prevent voters from knowing about it before the election. And at a maximum, winning State Auditor Office would allow Renae Randall herself to force an investigation into the SDRS/SDIC Whistleblower claims and the likely fraud at the SDRS/SDIC. She could also take the several other Whistleblower reports that are not being investigated at other agencies. She would be allowed to hire her own competent, hard-working staff and there would be ALOT of work to do. She actually chuckles thinking about doing the most politician thing ever and asking for more money for the agency, because she was going to need it;)

Renae had been discouraged from being politically active in SD politics because of her politically neutral position at the SDIC. Working 47-50 hrs a week at the office and hobby farming in her free time, also prevented her from being overly knowledgeable about SD political issues that are not in the SD News.

Renae learned ALOT at the GOP Convention. She talked to several people with varying flavors of the same problems of being put in a perpetual tailspin with the SD government not investigating concerning reports, not answering questions, lying to people, and what seems like point blank stealing people’s money or assets. There was strong evidence of Election Integrity issues also. The most visceral comments were directed to Sara Frankenstein at GPNA Law Firm that seems to have victimized a disturbing percentage of the people that talked to Renae. None of it was reported in the SD News even though several people had contacted them.

The Convention started on Thursday. I signed up to be a candidate for State Auditor the night before. After I saw my name posted, I put on my yellow whistleblower hat and started mingling. I had never been to a political convention before, so didn’t really know what to do. I sat down in a GOP Platform meeting, got a handout from someone, talked a bit to the people around me, and watched the process of debate. There did seem to be a set of general rules that people were following and even though there was alot of different opinions about what should be on the Platform and how to word it, it seemed to be respectful debate with both sides having fairly legitimate points and then eventually coming to some conclusion of an actual decision one way or the other. It seemed fairly functional. By the end of the day, they were kicking out Scott Presler and the Press from a John Thune dinner that would make national news the next day.

Friday, Marty Jackley was there for an event, so he had his goons surveilling me all day. That made people feel a bit uncomfortable to be around me, but I still met some great people. Heather Baxter is an impressive woman. Her speech would be similar to mine in that it’s main message was that the SD Government needs to start following the law. They also had a debate that day to Censure John Thune where one guy got up and read an email he got from someone associated with Sturgis threatening violence against him if they even brought the issue up.

Saturday was the election of the candidates day and alot of big name politicians there. Toby Doeden made eye contact with me once and nodded. Larry Rhoden wouldn’t get within 20ft of me. I was sitting in the center of the room with my yellow hat, so he would have to walk waaay to the back of the room to cross to make sure he never made any kind of eye contact with me.

Then, I finally get called up to speak. I had never done anything like this before. There were a thousand people there and the biggest groups I had ever spoken to were about 40 people at SDIC Board meetings and Big Sioux Bee Lovers bee club. Funny thing is….after 13 months of being cyberattacked and terrorized by the State of SD, this was not all that bad in comparison. I was safer for those 5 minutes at the podium than at any other point at the Convention. The only time I panicked a bit was when I lost my place after the GOP Platform part when my thumb touched the screen in a way that made the words really small and I’m in my 50’s now, so that was a bit of a problem. But I just took a couple of deep breaths, squinted a bit to see the next part and carried on.

At the end, 80% of that convention gave me a huge applause! About 20% were more of a ticked off stare, but in a Democracy, 80% approval is doing pretty good! And suddenly, for the first time in 13 months, ALOT of people wanted to talk to me. I didn’t win the election, as I came completely out of left field, no one really knew who I was and then dropping a bomb on people like that with only about 10 minutes to process it all before the vote, I completely understand. But I finally got a large group of people that are at least a bit active in the process to know what was happening.

Note on the GOP Platform part of the speech:

It would turn out I made a mistake and the handout that I thought was the GOP Platform was just new ideas for debate and not the actual platform. This is what happens when you aren’t paying attention to what is being said so much as how the process was working. Were people being allowed to speak, were people being respectful to each other, were the rules being followed…stuff that I had not really encountered with this SD Government for the last 13 months.

So when I wanted to put something from the platform in my speech the night before, #5 and #6 were the most beautiful words I had ever read.

“We believe a legitimate government enforces all of its laws, and does so with due measure, else it is not legitimate.”

“We believe legitimate governments at every level-federal, state, and local-are transparent and accountable to the people, else they are not legitimate.”

By the SD Government/SD Media not acknowledging Renae Randall’s existence; they are trying to de-legitimize me, the breakdown in Internal Controls across the entire SD Government and the likely fraud at SDRS/SDIC.

Except, Renae is the one that has laid all her cards on the table, has shown ALOT of hard evidence of what happened, is answering whatever questions people ask, and doing cartwheels trying to inform as many people as possible of the truth.

So all I’m asking is for the SD Government to answer some questions publicly about what is going on. A legitimate government that represents it’s citizens can easily do that. An illegitimate government that is breaking it’s own laws to benefit people other than it’s citizens cannot.

So SD Citizens should Ask Questions and Demand Clear Answers. Then decide for themselves.

This is the campaign pic I sent in, but someone behind the scenes decided not to post it, so this is what was on the screen when I did my speech. Do you think it was the hat? Trump's whole brand is a branded cap, so I figured it would be fine. Maybe they don't like yellow?

Notice Catherine Barranco has her website link also, but someone decided not to put my website link up either. Gee, I wonder why;)

The entire experience was nerve-racking and exhausting, but I had alot of fun. It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life!

Again, I thank everyone at the Convention for the opportunity to campaign for a few days and tell my story.

Renae Randall’s Ballotpedia profile running for State Auditor with a bright yellow Whistleblower hat. Still unsuccessful in reporting being fired for Whistleblowing to any entity of the South Dakota government to stop the fraud at the SDRS/SDIC. Fraud ongoing and continues.
